Other Delphi Socket component alternatives
Obviously our paradigm (non-blocking, component suite, mostly single threaded, postcardware) can't fit all needs, so here are alternatives:

Comes with Delphi, if you need blocking multi-threaded code instead of non-blocking optional threading.
